How much does Get Transcribed pay their workers?
The information regarding payment rates is available on the company website in the Payments section. Transcribers earn 23 cents per minute of audio. As you grow more experienced, you will get to do reviewing/quality checking tasks and earn 12 cents per minute of audio you have reviewed.
The company sends payments monthly via PayPal. Importantly, there is a minimum amount of $100 you must reach to require payout. If your balance is below $100 at the end of the month, the amount will be moved to the following month.
Does Get Transcribed hire transcribers from worldwide?
The company hires native English speaking transcribers from countries like the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. However, some posts on forums say that transcribers from other countries have been approved to work for Get Transcribed as well, so you might want to take your chances.
